Below is a very personal glimpse of what you should expect for you or your loved one staying at The Springs.

There are always “whispers.” Some whispers are true, others not so much. This fact is common knowledge, regardless of what we speak. I would like to speak to you, not in a whisper, but loudly, about “The “Springs.”
I am a retired nurse who spent five years of my work life as Director of Nursing in Highland Park, IL, for an 82 bed facility. My husband Dan recently spent several weeks at The Springs for occupational and physical therapy after surgery.
The Springs is a state-of-the-art facility with incredible leadership. I am more than pleased with the kind and loving care that was given in all areas; nursing, nursing assistance, activities and the therapy department. All of these departments are creative in their approach to the health and well-being of each resident; I give them all five stars.
Dan’s and my move to Monarch Landing in March of 2014 was a blessing; having The Springs on our property is a gift. When Dan needed The Springs to get back on his feet, my youngest son asked me, “Mom, are you getting everything you thought you would get when you made this move?” I answered, “Yes, yes and yes!”

Thank-you, to you and all of the staff at The Springs, for the attentive and compassionate care provided for my mother while she was a guest at The Springs.
The home-like décor and surroundings at The Springs were comfortable, fresh, and clean. We found the atmosphere at The Springs to be very uplifting in comparison to other subacute rehab facilities my sister and I visited prior to finally choosing The Springs.
The care staff at The Springs are something for which you should all be very proud. Your nurses, particularly Veronica, provided my mom with consistent and thoughtful care. Your staff of RAs really distinguish The Springs from other facilities. Caregivers, like Jordan and Aracelli, made all the difference for my mom and our family. As much as we would have liked to be able to be with my mom all the time, it was just not possible. Knowing that people like Jordan and Aracelli were checking-in on my mom very regularly, and were interacting with her with compassion and encouragement, helped to give us peace of mind that she was well cared-for when we couldn’t be with her.
Finally, we appreciated the openness at The Springs for discussing concerns, and we appreciated how quickly concerns were addressed – it certainly demonstrates your commitment for continuous improvement. Maribel often stopped by when we were visiting to say hello and see how things were going – she’s definitely a keeper! Many kudos!
Again, thank-you for the care provided to my mother.
